The
procurement of 600Ah solid-state batteries, including cabinets, accessories,
and installation services, was launched through an Open International
Competitive Bidding (ICB) process under RFQ No. 4279220-2, with a floating
period commencing on March 18, 2026, and will be closed dated on April 20, 2026.
Subsequently,
bidders requested clarifications and the
clarification requestes are under review to provide appropriate and adequate
clarification responses. In addition, participated bidders requested for an
extension of the bid closing and opening dates.
Accordingly, Ethio telecom has officially decided to grant seven (7) days bid closing and opening
dates to allow to enable bidders to
prepare competitive and responsive offers, as well as to complete all related
processes, as detailed in the table below:

this is to kindly inform you that the clarifications responses will be shared
soon. The bid closing and opening dates have been extended as indicated in the
above table to allow sufficient time for the preparation of responsive offers.
Accordingly, the bid bond validity period must also be aligned with the revised
bid closing date.
